Boston Monday 6-a-side: The goals don't stop!
The Boston Monday 6-a-side never, ever fails to deliver. The Haven High Academy played host to yet another electrifying round of fixtures this week, so let’s look at the highlights.
In the Premier League, Sons of Pitches laid a smackdown on Boys Venga, winning 15-1. Average Joes suffered an even worse fate, as Boston FC crushed them 17-0 in a ridiculous performance that propelled them to the top of table. They were helped out by an enthralling 4-4 draw between Bosh Squad and Gylfi Pleasures. While the match was a treat, Bosh Squad will be gutted to lose top spot.
Division 1 followed a similar theme, as Boom Xhakalaka and FCHasbik locked horns in a pulsating top-of-the-table clash that also ended in a 4-4 draw. This allowed Haven’t Jota Kulu to close the gap to the top two slightly with their terrific 6-1 win over Intermivan, as Sands United Boston climbed out of the drop zone by beating Murder on Zidane’s Floor 2-1.
In Division 2, Hoodrich battled past Tattoo Crew for a 4-3 win in another highly entertaining game, as Tekkerslovakia came through a stern test against the Torettos to win 3-2. Canastew Crew rounded off the action with a sensational display, laying a 9-3 beatdown on TMA Tekkers.
