The Boston Monday 6-a-side carried on strong with a packed round of fixtures and lots of goals, including a game that might go down in Leisure Leagues history.
The Premier League started off with a superb display from Sons of Pitches, who made their way into third with a 13-1 rout of Average Joes. Boston FC beat Gylfi Pleasures 3-1, but they still dropped to second on goal difference because the game that followed was scarcely believable.
In what may go down as the most dominant display in Leisure Leagues history, Bosh Squad took over top spot with an absolute annihilation of Boys Venga, smashing them out of the park for a 34-0(!) win. A surreal performance and a warning sound to the entire league.
A tier below in Division 1, FCHasbik claimed a routine 4-1 win over Haven’t Jota Kulu, while Sands Utd Boston edged out Intermivan for a 4-3 win in a hard-fought battle. Boom Xhakalaka kept up the pace, beating Murder on Zidane’s Floor 3-0.
Division 2 saw Tattoo Crew win 4-1 against the Torettos to maintain their spot in second. Tekkerslovakia continued to lead the pack in style, beating Canastew Crew 2-0 before Hoodrich climbed out of the bottom two with a terrific 7-3 win against TMA Tekkers in a superb game.
