Week two of the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side Football League concluded in a spectacular fashion last night, with high-octane matches across both the Premier League and Division 1, keeping us on the edge of our seats.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF delivered a commanding performance, triumphing 5-0 over Steau Needarest. Their dominant display was punctuated by the standout performance of Joe Elcocks, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. His relentless work rate and exemplary skill played a significant role in his side’s victory and ensured his name was etched in the records as the week's top player.
Receding FC also had a reason to celebrate, after securing a hard-fought 7-4 victory against Scorinbread United. However, the highlights of the week belonged to Smeg United, who stormed past their rivals Dusty Ballers with a 7-1 win. Premier League's top scorer of the week, Kian O'Higgins of Smeg United, netted an impressive five goals, further solidifying his team's dominance.
