Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 6

In an exhilarating week 6 of the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side Football league, some unforgettable moments were made, adding to the already thrilling season.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, the game between Smeg United and Scorinbread United resulted in an impressive 7-3 victory for Smeg United. leaders Steau Needarest also demonstrated their prowess by defeating new team Stella Fellas FC 10-5 in a high scoring encounter. A special mention goes to Conor Bickle of Steau Needarest who emerged as the top scorer in the division, bagging an astonishing 6 goals for his team. Bickle's stellar performance has undeniably positioned him as a force to be reckoned with in the coming weeks.

DIVISION ONE

Moving on to Division 1, Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF showcased their dominance in a jaw-dropping 10-2 victory over Ayew Taking This to go top of the league. Oldham Pathetic FC also enjoyed a successful evening, taking down Queens Park Strangers 8-2 while Tig Bitty Goth Girls triumphed 7-1 over Dusty Ballers. Lucio Gablinger of Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF proved himself to be the star of the division, scoring a total of 4 goals and clinching the title of top scorer in Division 1.

The highlight of the week though, was the exemplary performance from Lewis Hutchins of Tig Bitty Goth Girls, who was named the most valued player of the week. Hutchins' stellar play was pivotal in their victory, and his contribution to the team's success cannot be understated.
