Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 6

In an exhilarating week of football in our Exeter Sunday 5-a-side league, the Premier League and Division 1 delivered some high-octane performances leaving us on the edge of our seats.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Steau Needarest showcased their dominance with a resounding 9-2 victory over Dusty Ballers. The star of the show was undoubtedly Conor Bickle who netted an impressive five goals, claiming the title of top scorer in the Premier League this week. Meanwhile, Receding FC left no stone unturned in their demolition of Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF with a 9-0 scoreline. Smeg United and Scorinbread United served up a thrilling encounter which ended in a 6-4 victory for Scorinbread United.

DIVISION ONE

Switching gears to Division 1, PD stood victorious with a 9-5 win over Queens Park Strangers. Shay Corrick was the star player for PD, scoring a staggering six goals to become the top scorer in Division 1 this week. Pinhoe Dome Raiders also had a successful outing with a 7-4 win against Victor Moses Lawn. However, it was Tig Bitty Goth Girls who stole the limelight with a commanding 5-1 win over Stella Fellas FC.

The standout performer of the week across both divisions was Adam Tregale from Tig Bitty Goth Girls. His remarkable display on the pitch earned him the title of the Most Valued Player.

As we approach week 7 of the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side Football league, the excitement is building up. Will the top scorers maintain their momentum? How will the MVP Adam Tregale fare in the next match? As the competition heats up, we are eagerly waiting for the next set of matches.
