In the pulse-pounding world of 5-a-side football, the results from last night's games have been revealed for both the Premier League and Division 1 of Exeter Sunday's football league.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the matches kicked off with Pinhoe Dome Raiders going up against Scorinbread United. Despite a commendable effort from the Raiders, Scorinbread United took the match with a comfortable 7-3 victory. However, the highlight of the night was Receding FC's stellar performance against Stella Fellas FC, where they managed an impressive 13-3 win. The credit for this landslide victory largely goes to Receding FC's forward, Ryan Clarke, who topped the scoring charts with a whopping 8 goals to his name.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Tig Bitty Goth Girls faced Queens Park Strangers in an intense match that ended in a 9-5 win for the Goth Girls. The star player of this match was Josh Bradley, who scored 5 goals, leading his team to victory. The other match of the evening saw Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF emerge victorious with a 3-0 win against Dusty Ballers.
The player who stole the limelight this week was Lucio Gablinger from Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF. His extraordinary performance on the field earned him the title of the Most Valued Player of the week.
The competition is heating up, and with players like Ryan Clarke, Josh Bradley, and Lucio Gablinger, the opening weeks of 2025 promise an even more thrilling dose of football. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to enjoy some top-tier 5-a-side football.
