Exeter Sunday 5 a side news - match day 7

In a thrilling week of football, the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side League saw some high-scoring action in its seventh week of the season. The games took place last night, with teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions showcasing some spectacular performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, the Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF fell short against Scorinbread United, with a final score of 4-3. Leaders Receding FC defeated Dusty Ballers 7-2 in a high-adrenaline match. In an extremely close encounter, Smeg United lost to Steau Needarest 6-5. The star player of the division was Lewis Piper of Smeg United despite his teams loss, who managed to score a total of 4 goals, making him the top scorer of the Premier League division.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, the Stella Fellas FC dominated the Pinhoe Dome Raiders with a 14-1 victory. PD defeated Victor Moses Lawn 13-2 and Davies House overcame Tig Bitty Goth Girls with a scoreline of 11-8 in a thriller. Shay Corrick of PD stood out as the top goal-getter in the division, netting 4 goals in total.

The most valued player of the week was Anders Coode from Davies House. His spectacular performance on the field was instrumental in leading his team to victory. Coode's exceptional skills and determination proved decisive in the tight contest and earned him this well-deserved recognition.

As the league continues, we are eagerly anticipating the future matches. The seventh week has been a testament to the talent and competitiveness of the teams and has set the stage for an exciting season ahead.
