Exeter Sunday's week 9 action saw sparks fly in both the Premier League and Division 1. The evening was filled with high-intensity matches, unforgettable plays, and some remarkable individual performances.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Scorinbread United achieved an enthralling 10-7 victory against Dusty Ballers. This high-scoring whirlwind was largely due to the outstanding play of Daniel Fricker, who netted an impressive total of 5 goals for Scorinbread United. His outstanding performance and vital contribution to the team's victory earned him the title of the week's most valued player.
Not to be overshadowed, Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF also claimed a decisive win, defeating Smeg United with a 6-2 scoreline. This week's results further intensify the competition in the Premier League.
DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, the matches were equally as thrilling. Stella Fellas FC delivered a dominating performance against Victor Moses Lawn, ending the game 18-2. In another match, PD edged out Tig Bitty Goth Girls with a narrow 6-5 victory. But the match of the night was witnessed when Davies House defeating Pinhoe Dome Raiders 12-1.
Top scorer for Division 1 was Anders Coode from Davies House, who, like Fricker, netted 5 goals for his team, playing a crucial role in their resounding victory.
Exeter Sunday continues to delight football enthusiasts with its high-paced games and the raw talent of players like Daniel Fricker and Anders Coode. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming week 10, as the teams prepare to battle it out once again on the pitch.
