The fixtures on Tuesday night were all tight games and while they were not high scoring, they were still entertaining.
Going into the round of fixtures, Queens Park Strangers and Dads Army Miners Welfare were level on points at the top of the table and they still could not be separated after their game against each other. After a 0-0 draw, they both sit at the top of the table with 5 points with Queens Park Strangers only leading by one goal difference!
2 girls 1 Schlupp and Murder on Zidane's Floor made the most of this with their respective 1-0 wins against DDCC FC and Stella FC and they now only trail the leaders by only 1 point.
There was an incident in one of the fixtures where a player from Stella FC received a red card after verbally abusing the referee. This issue will be dealt with but can all teams be reminded that we have a zero tolerance policy towards any abuse or bad discipline in our leagues, whether that be towards referees or other teams.
