MATLOCK TUESDAY 6 A SIDE NEW SEASON UPDATE 12TH OCTOBER

It was a great night of football in our first week of the 6-a-side season at the brand new pitch at Highfields School in Matlock with all teams in attendance and our two new teams making their debut.

As we are still getting to grips with the new venue, there was still some great football being played out on the new state-of-the-art pitch on the Tuesday night. 

While new teams Backstreet Boys FC and Stella FC lost their first games, there are reports of some quality players for both sides and they will be looking to kick on in the coming weeks as they get used to the league!

The highlight of the night came in the early kickoff with Queens Park Strangers beating last season's runners up DDCC FC 4-2 in a thoroughly entertaining game.

Our 6 a side league in Matlock is shaping up to be a very interesting one and we look forward to see how it all pans out!
