Chatham Monday 5 a side end of season

In an action-packed final week of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, the tension was palpable as the championship was decided across all three divisions.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Pheasant Pluckers emerged victorious with an impressive 22 points accumulated from 10 wins. The top scorer, Brandon Ball, provided a remarkable contribution with a total of 4 goals in the final week's match, demonstrating his team's potent attacking power in a 7-7 draw with Macs who go down on goal difference. Other results saw Borstal Bums win 7-2 at Young Boys while Nigel Bens XI won a thriller 7-6 against Selecao. Josh Jackson scored a hat-trick for Bligh A Side as they won 8-5 against Cadiz Nuts.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 witnessed the dominance of Beercelona who clinched the title with a total of 25 points from a triumphant 12 wins as they defeated second place Holcombe Goons 4-3 on the final day. Andrew Skinner was the star player in this division, astonishingly netting 8 goals for Skinners FC, proving himself to be a formidable offensive force as they beat Snus Warriors 14-1. Scottswood had a close game as they defeated Unathletico Madrid 4-3.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Workrate FC took the crown with a total of 27 points, emerging from 13 hard-fought victories, finishing their campaign with a tight 4-3 win over Maroon 5. The division's top scorer, Harvey Claydon, displayed his sublime skills by netting 5 goals for Cokane United as they sealed promotion with a winner takes all clash with Get Your Scally Out, winning 8-5. The other game saw Haven't Got A Kalou beat Barely Athletic 9-3.

This season has been a roller coaster of high drama, skillful play and passion for the game. As we bid farewell to this season, we celebrate the triumphs of Pheasant Pluckers, Beercelona, and Workrate FC, who have won their respective divisions, and the outstanding individual performances of the top scorers across each division as listed below.

As another thrilling season of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League concludes, the anticipation for the next only continues to grow. The spirit of the game continues to drive these players to reach new heights and we look forward to seeing them on the pitch again next season.
