Play in the Chatham Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling eighth week of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, teams across three divisions battled it out in nail-biting matches that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

In Division 1, the Young Boys CF fell short against Bligh A Side in a closely contested match that ended 4-2. The story of the night, however, was Cadiz Nuts CF's masterful performance against Beercelona, where they displayed an offensive masterclass, triumphing 10 to 1. In other notable matches of the night, Borstal Bums barely edged out Nigel Bens XI 3-2, and Holcombe Goons held their nerve to beat Pheasant Pluckers 5-4. Oliver Warner from Nigel bens XI managed to top the leaderboard with two goals.

Moving onto Division 2, Workrate FC dominated Mac's 3.0 in an 8-4 victory with Jude Jones leading the charge with a whopping four goals. Selecao overcame Scottswood 6-3, while Skinners Fc beat Gayson Mount 5-1. Cokane United also earned bragging rights with a 9-2 victory over Unathletico Madrid.

In Division 3, notable performances included Get Your Scally Out FC's decisive 5-1 win against Barely Athletic and Maroon 5's 9-1 demolition of Club Tropicana Drinks FC. Tekkerslovakia Fc and Arselona battled to a draw with a scoreline of 4-4. G Čech FC secured a 7-3 victory over Snus Warriors. Alex Lawrenson of Maroon 5 emerged as the top scorer, netting five goals.

As we approach the business end of the season, the competition grows fiercer, and it’s anyone’s guess who will end up lifting the much-coveted trophy. The league continues to captivate with its unpredictability and intense rivalry, so don’t miss next week's exhilarating matches.
