Chatham Monday 5 a side news - match day 10

In an exciting turn of events, the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football league saw several impressive performances in its 10th week of the season. The teams demonstrated their sportsmanship and skill, leading to thrilling results.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 kicked off the action, with Borstal Bums emerging victorious with a 5-2 win over Cadiz Nuts CF. Bligh A Side and Nigel Bens XI were locked in a nail-biting game, ending with a 5-4 win in favour of Bligh A Side. In a high-scoring, evenly matched game, Holcombe Goons and Beercelona held each other to a thrilling 6-6 draw. Pheasant Pluckers also showed their mettle with a 4-2 win against Young Boys CF. Ralph Bradford of Borstal Bums was the standout performer, scoring a remarkable three goals to become the top scorer of Division 1.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Unathletico Madrid were pipped at the post by Workrate FC with a 5-4 defeat. Cokane United dominated their game with a convincing 7-2 win over Scottswood. Mac's 3.0 also showed their strength with a 3-1 victory over Skinners FC. Workrate FC's Omar Opata distinguished himself as the top scorer of the division, netting three crucial goals.

DIVISION THREE

The night ended with Division 3's exhilarating matches. Arselona narrowly lost to Get Your Scally Out FC, with a closely contested 6-5 scoreline. Tekkerslovakia FC and Maroon 5 fought to a 5-5 draw, while G Čech FC secured a sweeping 9-3 win against Barely Athletic. The top scoring honours for Division 3 went to Mikey Kearney of G Čech FC, who had an exceptional performance with five goals.

Overall, the 10th week of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football league was a showcase of skill, strategy and passion. As the competition heats up, all eyes will be on these divisions as we move into the next week of play.
