Everyone was treated to an electrifying display of football prowess in week 10 of the Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, with Ozan Cinar, Reece Young, and Tyler Jackson dominating the scoreboard.
DIVISION ONE
Division 1 saw some outstanding performances, with Bligh A Side triumphing over Nigel Bens XI in a remarkable 11-3 victory. The dazzling footwork of top scorer, Ozan Cinar, was the highlight of the evening, as he netted an impressive four goals for his side.
Pheasant Pluckers and Borstal Bums also claimed victories, defeating Mac's 3.0 and Holcombe Goons respectively. Cadiz Nuts CF gave an exceptional performance, outclassing Cokane United with a 7-1 final score.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 witnessed a tense face-off as Young Boys CF and Unathletico Madrid battled to a goalless draw. Skinners FC, however, had a successful outing, overcoming Gylfie Pleasures V2 with a 6-3 victory. Reece Young stood out, contributing four goals to his team's win and earning the accolade of top scorer in Division 2.
DIVISION THREE
The thrill continued in Division 3, with Arselona edging out Pain In Diaz FC in a closely-fought 3-2 victory. Tyler Jackson, the top scorer of Division 3, steered his team to victory with a commendable hat-trick. In other fixtures, SORRY BRO secured a narrow victory over Scottswood, and Get Your Scally Out FC crushed Barely Athletic in a 9-0 thrashing. Club Tropicana Drinks FC was bested by Gayson Mount in a thrilling 3-2 contest.
The Chatham Monday League continues to be a captivating sporting event, with nail-biting finishes and stellar individual performances defining week 10’s action. The race for the top spot is heating up with each passing week in all divisions, making the next round of matches even more exciting.
