Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 12

Last night marked the twelfth week of the riveting Chatham Monday 5-a-side Football League, where the adrenaline-filled games saw some incredible performances. With only two weeks left in the season, each team is striving to secure their place for the following season.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Bligh A Side and Holcombe Goons started the night with an intense match that resulted in a stalemate, 2-2. Skinners FC couldn't keep up with Cadiz Nuts CF, who dominated the field and clinched a resounding victory with a 5-2 scoreline. The night ended with a bang as Borstal Bums thrashed Pheasant Pluckers, scoring 7 goals to 2. Noah Stevens of Borstal Bums emerged as the top scorer of the division with an impressive tally of 3 goals.


DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Get Your Scally Out FC overpowered One Last Dance 4-2, while Pain In Diaz FC obliterated Beercelona with a whopping 8-0 victory. Cokane United edged out Masterbates United 5-2 in an engrossing match. The top scorer in this division was Ollie Kent-Smith from Pain in Diaz FC who recorded an impressive 5 goals.


DIVISION THREE
Division 3 was not short of drama, where Athletic Dildao and Club Tropicana Drinks FC battled to a 4-4 draw. Moretti fell short against Barely Athletic, losing 2-0. SORRY BRO secured a solid win against Gayson Mount with a 5-3 scoreline, while Lallanas In Pyjamas narrowly defeated Twin City FC, 6-5. The top goal scorer of the division was Archie Miller of Club Tropicana Drinks FC with 4 goals.


As the season draws closer to the end, the intensity is only expected to rise. Teams will need to dig deep and give their all in the remaining two weeks. The thrilling football action continues next Monday night, so don't miss out!
