Chatham Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 2

In an adrenaline-filled second week of the Chatham Monday Football League, teams from Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 battled it out under the floodlights, providing spectators with an unforgettable spectacle of skill, grit, and determination.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cadiz Nuts CF and Holcombe Goons set the stage with a thrilling match that ended with Cadiz Nuts taking the victory 5-3. The clash between Borstal Bums and Mac's 3.0 was no less exciting, with Borstal Bums edging out their opponents 4-3. Bligh A Side and Pheasant Pluckers both secured comfortable wins with impressive scores of 5-1 and 5-4 respectively. Brandon Ball of Pheasant Pluckers emerged as the division's top scorer with an impressive haul of 5 goals.

DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw Beercelona and Nigel Bens XI battling to a high scoring draw, finishing at 6-6. Gylfie Pleasures V2 and Pain In Diaz FC also shared the spoils with a 3-3 draw. However, Get Your Scally Out FC and Workrate FC triumphed in their respective matches with monumental victories. Lennon Diamond of Get Your Scally Out FC claimed the top scorer's mantle with his 3-goal performance.

DIVISION THREE
Meanwhile, in Division 3, Lallanas In Pyjamas and Club Tropicana Drinks FC ruled the roost with crushing 9-1 victories, shaking up the division. Barely Athletic fought hard but fell to SORRY BRO 6-8 in a hotly contested match. Moretti managed to squeak out a win over Athletic Dildao with a narrow 2-1 margin. Muhammed Darboe of SORRY BRO stood out as the top scorer in the division with 4 goals.
