Chatham Thursday 5 a side news - match day 3

In last night's riveting round of the Chatham Thursday Football League, players brought their A-game, showcasing unforgettable skills that left us in awe. The league, which is currently in its third week, witnessed some thrilling matches in Division 1.

DIVISION ONE

Girth on Turf demonstrated their dominance with a resounding 7-2 victory over Rice Spice, setting the tone for what was an exhilarating night of 5-a-side football. The team showed exceptional coordination and spirit, leaving their mark on the night's happenings.

One match that had everyone on the edge of their seats was Sheffield Thursday versus Perrys, which ended with a narrow 9-8 win for Perrys. It was a nerve-wracking game, with the lead swinging back and forth between the two teams. David Hall, from Perrys, emerged as the top scorer of Division 1, netting a remarkable total of 4 goals. His stellar performance played a significant role in securing the victory for his team.

Meanwhile, the clash between Mac 4 and Medway 57 ended in a 3-3 draw, a testament to the evenly matched skills and abilities of both teams. This draw gave Radar Raiders the chance to climb to the top as they picked up a 5-0 win due to the final remaining spot in the league.

The standout player of the week, however, was Harrison Liddle from Sheffield Thursday. Despite the team's narrow loss, Liddle's performance did not go unnoticed. His impressive skills and determination on the pitch earned him the title of the Most Valued Player of the week.

As the Chatham Thursday Football League moves forward, we eagerly await the action in the upcoming weeks. The thrilling performances, high scores and sportsmanship displayed in Division 1 are raising the bar for the competition. With the likes of players such as David Hall and Harrison Liddle, the excitement and anticipation for the rest of the season are building up.
