In the latest pulse-pounding week of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football League, we bore witness to some thrilling matches and exceptional performances. As we approached the fourth week of the season, the rhythm of the games truly began to pick up with a fierce competition being evident in Division 1.


DIVISION ONE


Girth On Turf put on a dazzling performance against Medway 57, running away with a comprehensive 9-2 victory to move into second spot. Their striker, Ryan Scott, was the star of the show, netting an impressive five goals to become the top scorer in Division 1 this week. His exceptional performance played a significant role in the team's success and has set the tone for upcoming matches.

In another exciting clash, Perrys emerged victorious against Mac 4 with a 5-3 scoreline. This win highlighted their determination and has positioned them strongly in the League standings. Rice Spice, however, faced a tough encounter against leaders Radar Raiders. The Raiders, exhibiting a commendable team effort, outplayed their opponents to win the match 8-4.

As the night concluded, it was Daniel Dickinson from Radar Raiders who stole the limelight as the most valued player of the week. Dickinson's skill and precision were on full display throughout his team’s match and his efforts were instrumental in their victory.
