Chatham Thursday 5 a side news - match day 7

In the seventh week of the Chatham Thursday 5 a side Football League, we witnessed yet another round of thrilling matches in Division 1, where the fight for superiority intensified.

DIVISION ONE  

The standout match of the evening saw Perrys face Paqueta Quavers. Second place Perrys, bolstered by an outstanding performance from Scott Jordan, took home a resounding 4-1 victory. Jordan, who scored two crucial goals, proved to be a significant driving force for Perrys, helping them to secure this important win. His impressive scoring run has taken him to the top of Division 1's scoring chart this week.

In another exciting match, Medway 57 locked horns with Rice Spice in an evenly contested showdown. Both teams fought tooth and nail, resulting in a 3-3 draw. Despite the draw, the teams demonstrated commendable skill and teamwork, treating us to a nail-biting match that kept us on the edge of our seats.

These results have left Division 1 wide open, with any team capable of taking home the crown. As we move into the eighth week, we eagerly anticipating what promises to be an electrifying continuation of this thrilling league.
