The Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football League continues to bring thrill and excitement, with its 13th week culminating in spectacular fashion in Division 1.
The evening was filled with goal-packed action as Double Pogba and Koke claimed a 6 - 3 victory over Perrys in a hotly contested match. Double Pogba and Koke demonstrated excellent team coordination and situational awareness, which ultimately led to their victory.
In a game that can only be described as a goal-fest, Radar Raiders outscored Dyslexia CF 11 - 6. Daniel Bowes of Radar Raiders turned in an outstanding performance, earning him the Most Valued Player of the week. Bowes's skill, determination, and playmaking ability were instrumental in the Raider's success and his team will be relying on him to maintain this momentum in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere, Mac 4 bested Rice Spice in a 10 - 6 thriller, while Bendher Rovers FC dominated Barely Athletic 11 - 1. Ben Hall of Bendher Rovers FC was the star of the match, scoring a whopping six goals. His exceptional performance has placed him as Division 1's top scorer for this week.
Rounding out the night, Rochester FC emerged victorious against Sons Of Siggurds with a score of 8 - 3. It was a fantastic night of football that showcased both individual brilliance and team unity, proving why this league is so highly regarded.
With such enthralling performances, the Chatham Thursday League promises an exciting run up to the season’s climax. All eyes will surely be on Division 1 as the teams battle it out for supremacy on the pitch.
