In a thrilling night of intense competition, the 15th week of the Chatham Thursday Football League took place with exhilarating encounters in Division 1. Teams battled it out on the pitch, exhibiting tremendous spirit and skill, leading to some memorable moments and hard-fought victories.
The night kicked off with Dyslexia CF and Double Pogba And Koke in an electrifying showdown that saw Double Pogba And Koke secure a 6-4 victory. Highlight of the match was undoubtedly Louis Crompton who netted an impressive total of four goals for Double Pogba And Koke. His scintillating performance earned him the title of top scorer in Division 1, an accolade well-deserved.
Another high-scoring duel was between Perrys and Mac 4. Despite a spirited performance from Perrys, Mac 4 emerged victorious with a convincing 7-3 scoreline. Radar Raiders and Bendher Rovers Fc showcased an evenly matched game, resulting in a 3-3 draw.
In a gripping face-off, Rice Spice managed to edge past Saka Potatoes 7-5, whilst a tight match between Out On Bale and Rochester FC saw Rochester FC clinching a 4-3 victory.
However, the standout performer of the week was Matthew Fuller from Dyslexia CF. Despite the team's loss, Fuller's exceptional performance on the pitch was recognized, and he was rightfully named the most valued player of the week.
