Sports fans at the Chatham Thursday Football league were treated to an exhilarating display of skill, tenacity, and sportsmanship in week 3 of the ongoing season.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the contest was fierce as teams battled for supremacy on the pitch. The highlight of the evening was the clash between Rice Spice and Net6 N Chill. Despite a valiant effort by Rice Spice, Net6 N Chill triumphed with a decisive 7-2 victory. Andrew Skinner of Net6 N Chill emerged as the star player, netting an impressive total of 5 goals and securing the spot as the top scorer in Division 1.
An equally intense battle unfolded in the Radar Raiders and Rochester FC match, which ended in a 5-5 draw. However, the standout player of the match, and the division, was Oliver Ott. Despite the draw, Ott's performance was nothing short of exemplary, leading to his recognition as the Most Valued Player of the week.
DIVISION TWO
Over in Division 2, the matches were no less exciting. Double Pogba And Koke succumbed to Bendher Rovers FC 5-1, while Elysium faced a similar fate against Perrys, losing 5-1. Weedwooders were also defeated 3-0 by Saka Potatoes. The top scorer in Division 2 was Scott Jordan. Showing exceptional talent, Jordan scored three goals for Perrys, etching his name in the books as this week's top scorer for Division 2.
In summary, week 3 of the Chatham Thursday Football league was a spectacle for the fans, filled with thrilling matches and extraordinary individual performances.
