Chatham Thursday 5 a side news | WEEK 3

Another exciting week of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side football league has come to a close, with some thrilling matches in both Division 1 and Division 2. Fans were treated to a spectacle of high-scoring games and outstanding individual performances.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, it was a week of four-goal thrillers. Radar Raiders and Rochester FC battled it out in an intense match, neither side willing to back down, resulting in a 4-4 draw. Meanwhile, Mac 4 triumphed over Saka Potatoes in a nail-biting match, edging them out with a 4-3 victory.

The star of Division 1 was undoubtedly Connor Wright of Saka Potatoes. Despite his team's loss, Wright's striking prowess was on full display as he scored a total of 2 goals for his team, becoming the top scorer in the division.

DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, there was no less drama. Net6 N Chill put on a commanding performance against Bendher Rovers FC, clinching a 3-1 victory. The standout player in this division was Tyler King from Net6 N Chill, who claimed the top scorer's spot by scoring a single, but decisive goal.

However, the player who stole the limelight for the week was none other than Harry Phoenix from Bendher Rovers FC. Despite his team's defeat, Phoenix's remarkable performance on the pitch earned him the title of the most valued player for the week.
