In a thrilling week 6 of the Chatham Thursday 5-a-side Football league, teams in Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out in a series of high-intensity matches.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Net6 N Chill narrowly defeated Rochester Fc 2-1, in a game that was a testament to both teams' defensive resilience. Meanwhile, Kent Kings showcased their offensive prowess, triumphing over Rice Spice 9-3. Sam Cackett from Kent Kings showed exceptional form, netting a total of three goals to become the top scorer in Division 1.
In another electrifying game in the same division, Radar Raiders outperformed Mac 4, ending the night with a 6-2 victory. Thomas Bennett from Radar Raiders was the standout performer of the week, earning the title of the 'Most Valued Player'. His impeccable control of the ball and strategic playmaking were instrumental in his team's victory.
DIVISION TWO
Over in Division 2, Bendher Rovers Fc demolished Perrys with a scoreline of 10-4. Byron Nichols of Bendher Rovers Fc was the star player for his team, netting two goals, thereby earning the title of top scorer in his division. In another neck-to-neck contest, Saka Potatoes and Double Pogba And Koke ended in a 5-5 stalemate, indicating the fierce competition and talent within the division.
