Horncastle Monday 6-a-side: A Brand New Campaign!

The Horncastle Monday 6-a-side league returned to the Horncastle Playing Fields this week for a brand-new season of thrilling football action. 

On opening matchday, reigning champions Ginger Gaffer FC took on Real Social Dads in a thrilling encounter, which saw the champs kick their season off with a 3-2 win eventually. Ollie Cranfield and Daniel Nixon picked up where they left off to get the goals. 

A lone strike from Ryan Hughes gave Beercelona the 1-0 win over new side Pathetico Seniors. SV Werder Beerman also started off with a hard-fought 3-2 win over WAA, with a great display from Olly Palmer who scored twice. 

Perak and Hardly Athletic enjoyed walkovers and played friendlies instead.
