Horncastle Monday 6-a-side: Cracking Action!

The Horncastle Monday 6-a-side league continued in full swing this week at the Playing Fields, as we were treated to some wonderful games yet again. 

Starting off with a blockbuster, league leaders Ginger Gaffer took on second-placed Beercelona in a match that ultimately proved rather comfortable for the table-toppers, as they won 4-1 thanks to Ollie Cranfield's brace and goals from Daniel Nixon and Arthur Graves. They now have a three-point lead at the top. 

WAA, despite their stuttering form are showing signs of promise, as they took a point by holding Hardly Athletic to a 2-2 draw, but still dropped into the bottom two. Pathetico Seniors saw off LC Ultras 3-0 thanks to goals from Robert Rowlatt, Ollie Elkington and Will Allen, while Lallanas in Pyjamas crushed Werder Beerman 6-0.

David Turnbull's brace gave Real Social Dads a 2-0 win over Perak to round off the week's action.
