The Horwich Monday 6-a-side Football League season continued in Division 1 yesterday with a series of high-octane matches that thrilled fans and intensified the competition for the league title.

In a thrilling encounter, SCFC Orange Madrid edged past Helmet Boys, carving out a narrow 3-2 victory. Despite a rigorous fight, FillmewithMorecambe managed to squeeze out a 1-0 win against Juice Me FC. Washamachine couldn't hold off Purple Ake, whose aggressive play led to a 4-2 triumph.

Aspull Villa fell to the relentless Blackrod Phoenixes, suffering a 4-1 loss. Blackrod Phoenixes' star player, Addy, showed remarkable prowess, leading the score chart for Division 1 with 3 goals in total for the week. His exceptional performance was key to the Phoenixes' victory.

Sons Of Pitches dominated Stranger Mings in a 5-0 victory, while HornDogs outclassed Tesc0s Fin3st with an impressive 7-0 triumph. The HornDogs' rigorous training and outstanding teamwork were evident in their strategic play and commanding victory.
