The High Wycombe Tuesday, a captivating 6-a-side football league, kicked off its first week of the season with some thrilling matches in both Division 1 and Division 2. The pitch was ablaze with youthful vigor and veteran wisdom, as teams went toe-to-toe in a bid to set the pace for the season.

In Division 1, there were some remarkable matches. The Briers Family and Inter Your Nan got the season started with a competitive draw, each scoring 3 goals. The highlight of the night was the nail-biting match between Smoothtuggaswomanlovers and Kiss My Pass, where Smoothtuggaswomanlovers squeaked out a victory, edging their opponents 4-3. Onana Whats My Name started the season with a solid victory over AC Wycombe, securing a 3-0 win. Meanwhile, Wester Than Ham outpaced FC REAL AKA HP SAUCE with a 5-2 victory. To round off Division 1, Serious 6s clinched a narrow victory over Load of Kaka, with the final score standing at 2-1.

Over in Division 2, AFC Terriers and Bell Ends FC kicked off the season with a 1-1 draw. Joe Mumma showed their dominance by defeating LL FC with a clean 2-0 scoreline. The match between Reus Krispies and Fake United saw an explosion of goals, with Fake United triumphing 5-3. Lastly, Crown Town FC edged a victory over Koch In Dias with a 2-1 score.

As for individual performances, the star players have already started to shine. For Division 1, the leading goal scorer for the week is the forward from Wester Than Ham. Over in Division 2, the top scorer was the Fake United's striker, whose hat trick played a pivotal role in their opening week victory.
