New Portsmouth Wednesday 6 a side season kicks off!

In an electrifying start to the new season of Portsmouth Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, some truly impressive performances were witnessed in Division 1. Power-packed matches filled with skill, agility, and unrivaled enthusiasm kicked off the season in high gear.

DIVISION ONE  

The Duchess team emerged as one of the powerhouses of the Division 1 league by defeating AFC KARKEY with a commanding 6-1 victory. Their impressive play and cohesive team effort were noted as they dominated the game from start to finish. This win places them in a strong position as the season progresses.

In a similar vein, Barely Athletic FC caused the upset of the night to overcome champions Puyol Pants Down with a 4-2 win. The match was testament to their preparation and team dynamics, showcasing a solid start to their campaign.

Crosshill FC also started the season on a high note, defeating Unknown with a scoreline of 4-2. Their tenacity and determination were palpable on the field, promising an exciting season ahead.

A highlight of the Division 1 league was the outstanding performance of Justin Paterson from Crosshill FC, who secured the top scorer position by netting a total of 3 goals. His exceptional skill and striking ability were on full display, promising a thrilling season.
