Portsmouth Wednesday 6 a side end of season!

In last night's dramatic finale of the Portsmouth Wednesday 6-a-side football league, we were treated to a high-octane showdown that dictated the victors of both Premier League and Division 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Puyol Pants Down managed to secure a nail-biting victory against Cross Keys Ath, edging the match 4-3. The game was further electrified by the sterling performance of Charlie Ruffell from Cross Keys Ath, who scored an impressive hat trick, thereby clarifying his position as on of the leading marksman in the league. Despite his team's loss, Ruffell's individual brilliance cannot be overlooked.

DIVISION ONE

in Division 1, The Ductches proved their mettle against AFC KARKEY with a 3-1 win while Panther FC narrowly defeated Barely Athletic FC 2-1. Isaac Affum from Panther FC was the star of the night, netting two goals to reign as Division 1's top scorer this week.

However, amidst the flurry of fantastic performances, it was Barely Athletic FC's Richard Polson who stole the spotlight. Polson, despite his team's loss, was named the most valued player of the week, demonstrating skill and determination that stood out in the competitive landscape of the league.

As the final whistle of the season blew, Puyol Pants Down and The Ductches emerged victorious, each winning their respective divisions. Puyol Pants Down triumphed in the Premier League with an astounding 16 points and 7 wins, while the Ductches clinched Division 1 with 6 points and 3 wins.

As we close the book on this season of the Portsmouth Wednesday 6-a-side league, we can reflect on the array of memorable moments, stunning scores, and football prowess that graced the pitch week after week. Until next season, the glory belongs to Puyol Pants Down and The Ductches.
