Portsmouth Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 2

In an exhilarating week of football, Portsmouth’s Wednesday league carried on with its second week of gripping 6-a-side fixtures, producing several thrilling encounters across both Division 1 and Division 2.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, AFC KARKEY delivered an assertive performance against Jalapeno Hotties, securing a decisive 5-1 victory. Yet, it was Borussia Teeth who stole the show, defeating Tesco Finest FC with a staggering 16-0 triumph. Kieran Magee, the week's top goal scorer, led the onslaught for Borussia Teeth, netting an impressive five goals. Another exciting match in Division 1 saw VAFC take on T Ts Troops, where VAFC managed to clinch a hard-fought 4-2 win.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 was equally thrilling. Crosshill FC outclassed Ball Fondlers with an astounding 10-1 victory. Spearheading Crosshill FC’s attack was Charlie Clark, who emerged as the division's top scorer after netting an impressive six goals. Meanwhile, Man Tity ran riot against Six Sexy Soldiers, registering a commanding 13-1 victory.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the performance of Isaac White from Man Tity. His stunning display on the field earned him the accolade of the most valued player of the week. White's impressive skill, precision, and strategic flair shone through, exemplifying what this league is all about.

This week's games have set the bar high. As the season progresses, we can expect more such electrifying performances and riveting showdowns in the Portsmouth Wednesday Football League.
