Portsmouth Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 4

The Portsmouth Wednesday 6-a-side Football League concluded its fourth week of matches yesterday, showcasing impressive performances and high-scoring games across both divisions.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Borussia Teeth showed their dominance with a convincing 5-1 victory over AFC KARKEY. Notably, VAFC displayed their attacking prowess with a 10-1 thrashing of Jalapeno Hotties, the highest scoring game of the week. TTs Troops also continued their winning streak with a 6-1 victory over Tesco Finest Fc, highlighting their strong presence in the division.

The standout player in Division 1 was undoubtedly Tyler Thorpe of TTs Troops, who netted a remarkable total of 6 goals, securing his position as the top scorer of the week.

DIVISION TWO

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Ball Fondlers captured a hard-fought 4-1 win over 2 Girls 1 Klopp, while new team Bulldogs secured a solid 7-2 victory against Six Sexy Soldiers. The most thrilling match of the division saw Crosshill FC edge past Man Tity in a high-scoring 8-4 showdown.

In the goal-scoring department, Charlie Clark of Crosshill FC stood out from the rest, tallying an impressive total of 5 goals, the highest in Division 2 for the week.

As we move into the fifth week of the season, the competition is expected to intensify, with all teams looking to improve their positions in their respective divisions. The exceptional performance of both top scorers, Tyler Thorpe and Charlie Clark, has set the bar high for the others.
