Portsmouth Wednesday 6 a side news - match day 6

Portsmouth's Wednesday Football League recently wrapped up its sixth week, showcasing impressive performances from the teams who participated in both Division 1 and Division 2.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, the match that caught everyone's attention was the fixture between Tesco Finest FC and Borussia Teeth. Borussia Teeth completely dominated the pitch, ending the game with a staggering 17-0 win. Sam Metcalfe, the team's star striker, showcased his exceptional talent by contributing four goals to the victory, making him the top scorer for Division 1 this week.

In another game of the same division, TT's Troops and VAFC locked horns in a high-octane match. The clash ended with VAFC edging out TT's Troops in a nail-biting finish, marking the scoreline at 3-2.

DIVISION TWO

Meanwhile, in Division 2, the Bulldogs made their mark by defeating 2 Girls 1 Klopp with a noteworthy 7-1 victory. Crosshill FC also registered a win against Ball Fondlers in a closely-fought match, with a final score of 3-2.

In the final game Man Tity defeated their opposition with a 9-0 win, with Tyler Hardie leading the charge by scoring four goals in the game. Tyler's performance secured his position as the top scorer in Division 2 for the week.

The Portsmouth Wednesday League is set to return next week and we are eagerly awaiting another round of thrilling football, hoping to see more exciting performances.
