The COVID-19 lockdown is slowly easing up in many areas of the UK and things are making very positive returns to whatever normal is likely to be in the future.
We still don't have a return date for football to officially kick off again, but we are sure that now the premier league is returning next week, we aren't too far away and our Kimberley Leisure Centre 6 a side league that runs on Wednesday evenings will be back up and running soon enough!
Seeing as we still have some time before we are back on the pitch, take a look at these 5 things for you to do before we are playing again -
1. Dust off those boots and make sure they are match ready for when the big day arrives.
2. Get yourself match fit. Get up to 6 mates together and start some preseason fitness drills.
3. Probably the most important of them all, make sure you have 6-7 reliable and consistent players ready to go for your team.
4. Get a reliable keeper! We all know the struggles of finding a keeper every week, sometimes when you find someone decent between the sticks they are worth their weight in gold.
5. keep an eye on our Facebook group! Everything that will happen in our league will be posted to our Facebook group, so its very important that you like our Facebook groups to stay up to date on everything that is happening throughout our leagues.
Get all of these ticked off the to-do list and you'll be all ready for when we return!
