The Euros are now over and we can return back to normal life of spending more time at our home than at the pub watching any and every game being played.

We kicked off with a brand new season on Wednesday night at Kimberley Leisure Centre, so let’s see which team caught our eye on the first evening back out on the 3G...

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Petr Cech Yourself will be holding their heads heigh after their solid performance on Wednesday night. This was these guys debut in the league and what a debut it was! A big 3-1 win was exactly the result these guys would have been looking for to get themselves off to the best possible start and that was exactly what they achieved. Its only 1 game into the new season, so we don't want to get carried away with their performance, but there’s certainly no harm in awarding praise where due! Next week is the real test when they take on our reigning league champions...

Mathew Smalley - Wolverhamtim - Mathew has started the league really strong, getting off to the best possible individual start and getting on track to win back to back “player of the season” awards. What a run of form he is in!
