It was a brilliant evening of football at Lichfield Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw our new champions crowned! All teams were in attendance with the exception of Barely Athletic and Colonel Getafe who return as normal for the new season which kicks off next week!

In the Premier League division, Pjanic were crowned Champions despite the best efforts of Out on Bale who couldn't swing their goal difference around as they beat Interyanan 4-2. APFC took on Wooleys Wanderers in a closely contested match, APFC emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.  Dog Inn FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against SHOW ME THE MANE.

Division 1 witnessed equally gripping battles, a valiant ChongersFC couldn't avoid relegation despite clinching a narrow 3-2 victory over MK Dongs. Weasels confirmed their promotion beating  ICE PACK 2-0. In a thrilling encounter, Pique Blinders emerged triumphant with a 2-1 win against Division 1 Winners Greggs On Legs FC.

Meanwhile, Division 2 showcased some extraordinary performances. Exeter Gently secured final day promotion as they beat Hardly Athletic with a remarkable 12-0 victory to snatch the final promotion place from Murder on Zidanes Floor who could only manage a 2-2 draw with Intermavan. Sutton Sounders secured a tight 1-0 win over Noels Rejects, while Slick Ricks Army secured the league title with a narrow 1-0 win over Busby Babes.
