It was a fantastic evening of football at Lichfield Leisure League for the start of the new season which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT- As of next week, there will be a small increase in our match fee from £30 to £33, which is the equivalent to 50p per player. This is our first price increase in three years since July 2020. 

Match Report 

In the Premier League, our newly crowned champions, Pjanic didn't get off to the start they would have liked as they were defeated by title challengers APFC 1-0. The Weasels made an impressive start, outscoring Greggs On Legs FC 6-0, showing their intent to dominate from the outset. Meanwhile, SHOW ME THE MANE and Colonel Getafe ended their exhilarating match in a 1-1 draw. T Out On Bale emerged victorious over Inter Yanan with a score of 3-2 in what was a nail-biting game.

Division 1 witnessed equally exciting matches, with Yes Chef defeating Slick Ricks Army 8-2 and securing their position at the top of the division. The match between Wooleys Wanderers and Dog Inn FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Barely Athletic secured a win over Exeter Gently with a 3-1 scoreline, while Pique Blinders narrowly edged out MK Dongs 4-3 in a high-scoring thriller.

Division 2 also saw some impressive performances, with Sutton Sounders defeating Busby Babes 3-1. League debutants Reus Krispies managed a narrow victory over Noels Rejects with a 3-2 scoreline. Murder On Zidanes Floor dominated with a 4-0 win over Hardly Athletic, while ICE PACK managed to outscore Inter MaVan 3-0.
