Lichfield Monday 6 a side news 2023-11-20

It was a brilliant evening of action at Lichfield Leisure Leagues, which saw some huge upsets across the divisions. All teams were in attendance as scheduled, we thank all teams for your continued support and reliability as always. 

In the Premier League division, APFC was the standout team, beating Surreal Madrid in5-0 victory. In another high-stakes match, Colonel Getafe eased their relegation fears as they  edged Inter Yanan 1-0 in a tightly-contested encounter. Neither Out On Bale or Weasels could find a winner, ending their match in a 1-1 draw. Pjanic At The Disco put on an impressive display against SHOW ME THE MANE, triumphing 4-2 in a high-scoring contest.

In Division 1, Exeter Gently seized a solid 3-1 victory against Slick Ricks Army, while MK Dongs and Dog Inn FC fought to a goalless draw. Yes Chef incredible season continued as they  overcame Pique Blinders in a 3-1 win, and Wooleys Wanderers outperformed Barely Athletic with an impressive 5-1 scoreline.

In Division 2, Thursday Club kept their promotion hopes alibe as they  clinched a narrow 2-1 victory over debutants Law Abiding Sigurdssons. Reus Krispies leapfrogged Ice Pack into top spot as they the edged the top pf the table clash, 2-1. Meanwhile, Sutton Sounders overwhelmed Inter MaVan with a commanding 7-1 triumph. Murder On Zidanes Floor closed the night with a 3-1 victory against Noels Rejects.
