Lichfield Monday 6 a side news 2024-03-04

Overall it was a good night of action at Lichfield Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. 

We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.

In the Premier League division, in the game of the evening Pique Blinders closely edged out Dairy Milk FC in a tight 3-2 finish. Out On Bale kept up the pressure on APFC, impressively securing a 3-0 win over Weasels. Inter Yanan outplayed SHOW ME THE MANE 4-2, while APFC held firm to shutout Yes Chef 2-0.

The Division 1 matches also witnessed a fair share of goals. Surreal Madrid clinched a much needed  3-1 victory against Marodinner while MK Dongs narrowly defeated Colonel Getafe 2-1 to dent their promotion hopes. Exeter Gently emerged triumphant with a 4-1 win over ICE PACK. Barely Athletic showcased a masterclass performance, beating Slick Ricks Army 7-2.

The action continued in Division 2. Inter Row Z and Thursday Club managed to carve out 2-0 and 2-1 victories against Sutton Sounders and Finley Fiddlers, respectively. Law Abiding Sigurdssons stole a narrow 2-1 win over Murder On Zidanes Floor. Intermavan kept their promotion hopes alive with a crucial 10-3 victory over Noel's Rejects
