It was a brilliant evening of action of at Lichfield Leisure Leagues, we were delighted to welcome Club Tropicana Drinks FC to the league which included a few familiar faces!
In the Premier League division, Barely Athletic came out strong against Exeter Gently, winning 4-1 to keep the pressure on the league leaders. Yes Chef also clinched an impressive victory over Inter Yanan with a 2-1 scoreline. However, the highlight of the division was Out On Bale's victory over SHOW ME THE MANE, with an impressive 7-1 result, which really caught the spectators' attention. APFC got back to winning ways against Pique Blinders, finishing 2-1.
The Division 1 saw MK Dongs succumbing to ICE PACK with a 0-4 loss. Thursday Club managed a wonderful win with a 5-1 victory over promotion contenders Colonel Getafe. Weasels also put on a good show, beating Parks Poachers 2-0, while Dairy Milk FC scraped through with a 3-2 win against Finley Fiddlers.
In Division 2, Inter MaVan demonstrated their power by defeating Sutton Sounders 3-1. Club Tropicana Drinks FC beat Special Olympiakos with a 5-0 victory. Weegions were also very impressive in a 7-0 victory over Murder on Zidanes Floor. Marodinner will return to competitive action next week
