It was another brilliant evening of football at Lichfield Leisure Leagues on Monday with all teams in attendance as scheduled barring Marodinner who will be replaced in the league for next week
In the Premier League division, APFC shone through with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Out On Bale, while Yes Chef cooked up a storm on the pitch with a fantastic 7-3 win over Barely Athletic who couldn't capitalise on the league leaders defeat. Show Me The Mane kept their survival hopes alive with a fantastic, keeping a clean sheet in their 3-0 triumph against Exeter Gently. Elsewhere, the match between Pique Blinders and Inter Yanan, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
In Division 1 Thursday Club continued their fine form with 4-0 win against Weasels, while Parks Poachers narrowly edged past MK Dongs in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. In other matches, Ice Pack emerged victorious against Mere Green F with a 6-2 scoreline, while Colonel Getafe clinched a narrow 3-2 win over Finley Fiddlers to remain on course for promotion.
Finally, in the Division 2 league, Weegion pulled off a resounding 4-0 victory over Sutton Sounders, and Club Tropicana Drinks FC outshone Inter Row Z with an impressive 9-0 win. Special Olympiakos and Inter MaVan had to share the spoils, as their match ended in a 2-2 deadlock. Marodinner will be replaced in the league with a new team which will be announced this week
