Lichfield Monday's 6-a-side football league witnessed some high-voltage action last night with the conclusion of week 2 of the season. All teams were in attendance with the exception of Sutton Sounders who return to competitive action next week!
In the Premier League, the biggest shock of the evening came from Out On Bale, who thoroughly outclassed SHOW ME THE MANE with a 6-0 victory. Thursday Club and Yes Chef also registered impressive victories over Barely Athletic and Inter Yanan, respectively. The former game ended with a 5-3 scoreline, while Yes Chef beat Interyanan 5-0. Colonel Getafe and APFC had a closely fought game, with Getafe managing to scrap a narrow 1-0 win to continue their impressive start to the season.
Over in Division 1, Bobcats Bombers, Club Tropicana Drinks FC, and Weegion all secured victories. Bobcats Bombers edged past Pique Blinders 1-0, while Club Tropicana Drinks FC handed a 4-0 defeat to Finley Fiddlers. Weegion claimed victory over Unathletico Madrid with a 2-0 scoreline, while MK Dongs pulled off a narrow 1-0 victory against ICE PACK.
Lastly, in Division 2, Parks Poachers emerged victorious against Baloteletubbies with a 1-0 scoreline. The match between Mere Green F and Special Olympiakos resulted in a goalless draw. However, the highlight of Division 2 was the high scoring match between BaconMbappe and Inter Row Z, where the latter team came out on top with a significant 6-1 victory.
