It was a brilliant evening of action in our Lichfield Monday League which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled with the exception of MK Dongs who return as normal from next week.
In the revered Premier League, Barely Athletic showcased their prowess against SHOW ME THE MANE with a commendable 3-1 victory to stave off their relegation fears. Out On Bale commanded the pitch with a spectacular 7-3 win against Yes Chef, to keep them two points clear at the top. APFC also showed their dominance against Perth Glory Hole, netting 4 goals to 0. Thursday Club rounded up the Premier League action with a 6-1 triumph over Colonel Getafe to keep themselves in title contention.
Switching gears to Division 1, Bobcats Bombers and ICE PACK battled it out to a 1-1 draw. CF Garobatso, however, suffered a 7-0 loss against Weegion. Club Tropicana Drinks FC also came out victorious after a fierce 4-1 battle against Pique Blinders.
In Division 2, Baloteletubbies fell short in a close 2-1 game against Sutton Sounders. The match between Inter MaVan and BaconMbappe ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw, while Inter Row Z couldn't hold off Special Olympiakos, succumbing to a 3-0 defeat. Parks Poachers and Mere Green F also ended the day with a 2-2 draw.
