In the heart of the football season, week nine of the Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football league was marked by intense competition and tight scores in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
The Premier League saw a thrilling competition with leading teams showcasing their skills. The most intense match was between Out On Bale and Yes Chef, where Yes Chef clinched a narrow victory with a scoreline of 2-1. Moreover, APFC put up an impressive performance against Weegion with a similar score, taking home a well-deserved win. However, Thursday Club topped the charts this week in a brilliant game against Colonel Getafe, where they dominated the field with a clear 4-0 victory.
Moving onto Division 1, Perth Glory Hole emerged as the biggest surprise of the week, inflicting a comprehensive 11-1 defeat on Losing My Reguilon. ICE PACK and Mere Green F also registered victories, both by 2-1, against Special Olympiakos and SHOW ME THE MANE respectively.
In Division 2, the competition was fierce with close matches throughout the evening. Baloteletubbies managed a narrow 1-0 win against Sutton Sounders, while Inter MaVan edged out BaconMbappe 3-2 in an exciting match. Bobcats Bombers claimed a 1-0 victory against Shortbutts FC, but the most evenly matched game was Parks Poachers and Pique Blinders, who shared the points with a 2-2 draw.
