Lichfield Monday Round Up 21/06

It was another fantastic evening of action in our Monday League at King Eddies which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. As always, we thank you for your continued support and reliability.

Premier League

Wow, what a title race it is turning out to be, only two points separate the top three! Title challengers Colonel Getafe and Show me the Mane battled out a 1-1 draw with neither side able to find a winner. That result meant Pjanic could leapfrog SMTM back into spot and that they did with an impressive 5-2 victory over SEBS FC.

WS15 Wanderers continued their battle to avoid the drop with a well fought 3-1 victory over Nione FC. Elsewhere, ICE PACK beat APFC 2-0 in a closely fought encounter.

Division 1 

Only two points separate the top 4 teams, this promotion battle looks like it will go down to the wire! Pique Blinders returned to the top with an impressive 3-1 victory over Stroke Titty who themselves are only two points off a promotion spot. In an 11 Goal thriller, Car Park FC battled to a 6-5 victory over MK Dongs to move into the second promotion place!

Elsewhere, Old Heads got back to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Gangster's Allardyce, GA are just one point off a promotion place! NO SI NO PARTY picked up their first leisure leagues victory with an impressive 3-1 victory over Fradley Fab 6!
