Monday 14th January - Lichfield Round-Up

It was another good evening of 6 a side football in Lichfield on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night, the only exception being a cancellation from Notinyamomsforest who we thank for calling and look forward to seeing return on Monday 21st January.

Athletico Pathetico sit in second place in the Premier Division after an entertaining 4-2 victory over Show Me The Mane.  Ice Pack also won 4-0 against Nione FC to drag themselves out of the bottom 2 on goal difference, this after Old Heads and APFC played out a 1-1 draw.

Warded Stags 100% record continued after 8 games after a 6-0 win over Barmyarmytage to lead the way convincingly in Division One.  The gap between top and second got bigger too as second placed BG Then Para were beaten 8-4 by The Fountain in a thrilling game which sees Fountain go level on points in second place and the gap between them and top extend to 4 points.

AFC Red rounded off the evenings action with a 2-0 victory over Mark Bunn Dat who although are in fourth place now look highly unlikely to break into the top three places in the league, 5 points the gap between them and The Fountain.
