October 7th - Lichfield End of Season Round-Up

The leagues went goal mad in a brilliant night at King Eddies!

In a top of the table clash in the Premier division, we saw the Fountain crowned champions with a thumping victory over Nione FC. APFC pipped Nione to the runners up spot in a closely fought encounter, coming out 2-1 winners over SBFC. 

Show me the Mane scored a comprehensive 7-1 victory over Leisure Leagues debutants GSA All Stars despite their fantastic support from the touchline. 

In the First Division, MK Dongs beat Only Fools & Scorers 5-4 in what was  arguably the best game of the season for entertainment. Southmill Soccer came out 3-1 victors over ICE PACK, despite this result ICE PACK claim the runners up spot, 4 points ahead of their nearest rival Only Fools & Scorers. In the final game of the evening, Diet Coke continued their good form in a very end to end game with a 3-1 victory over Old Heads.

We have two new teams joining the leagues for the new season starting October 14th . New season fixtures will be available on site within the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled! 

Next week, we will be taking Team photos for the new season so you may want to book in for a fresh trim!
