Shock result in race for promotion!

Lichfield Leisure Leagues welcomed Storm Brenda on Monday evening and their were some fantastic matches across both leagues!

Premier Division

The Fountain put in an impressive display with a thumping win over Nione FC, which strengthens their place at the top of the league. The defeat for Nione Fc means they drop back into the relegation zone, only one point from safety with two games to go! Can they escape the drop!?

Ice Pack pulled a point clear of the drop zone, sharing the spoils with Colonel Getafe in an entertaining 3-3 draw. Finally, SBFC battled to a crucial point, securing a 1-1 draw against APFC. SBFC's battle for safety continues with only three point separating the bottom three.

First Division

There was a huge upset in Division one as Pjanic at the Disco stunned Southmill Soccer in a 4-1 Victory to still put them in with a chance of securing promotion. Olds heads also secured an impressive 4-0 victory over Ayew Ready to keep up their promotion challenge. Its a three horse battle for promotion as only one point separates three teams!
