What a start! - Lichfield Weekly Round Up 03/02

It was fantastic evening of football at King Eddies to kick off the new season in style. We will start our round up in the Premier League where  the newly promoted club truly announced themselves to the league.

Premier Division

It was a battle of the newly promoted clubs in the Premier League as PATD and Southmill Soccer faced off. PATD came out with an excellent 7-1 victory to see them climb to the top of the early standings. Southmill will be hoping to they return to their fantastic promotion form next week! Hityobhifromthebackk who are also new to the league, battled to a hard fought 2-2 draw with Colonel Getafe. Show Me The Mane got the season off with a bang as they came out with a comprehensive 4-0 win against Ice Pack.

Division 1 

SBFC couldn't start their promotion campaign with a win as Leisure Leagues Debutant Sporting FC held them to well earnt 0-0 draw. Sporting will be hoping this can set them on right track to picking up their first victory. Leisure Leagues debutants Fradley Fab 6 and Ayew Ready played out a goal feast as  Fradley came out on top 5-3 to pick up their first win of the season.

Nione FC and Mk Dongs picked up points match victories with Old Heads returning next week to kick off their season.
