It was a fantastic evening of football to kick off the new season in our Lichfield Tuesday league. We were delighted to welcome a number of brand new teams to the league!
We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.
In the Premier League, Hardly Athletic were superb against performance against Lallana Rhoades as they were victorious in 5-1 win.
The game between Undateables FC and Wick FC ended in 1-1 draw, although a notable mention to the Undateables keeper who scored from his own penalty box! Elsewhere, Lichfield Elite emerged victorious against Mk Dongs with a clear 3-0 win. Wall Island return to competitive action from next week.
In Division 1, Silf Meducers FC lightly edged Alex Gilmore with a 1-0 win, while league debutants Borussia Teeth triumphed over The Power Puff Boys with a 3-1 victory. Barton Brewdogs also started their season on a high-note by beating Demon Team 3-1. In the most nail-biting match of the night, Not Too Serious narrowly defeated MaradonaKebab 3-2.
