In an exhilarating Week 5 of the Guernsey Monday 6-a-side Football League, teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 clashed in an exciting display of prowess and tactics on the pitch.

In the Premier League, G A W S F C edged out Class On Grass FC in a tightly contested match that ended 1-0. Slaughterhampton managed to outmaneuver Six Offenders with a scoreline of 3-1, proving their offensive capabilities. The clash between Too Many Flutes FC and Spud Gun FC yielded a balanced score of 2-2, demonstrating the evenly matched power of both teams. However, the highlight of the evening in the Premier League was the high scoring game between Held Capdevila and Shane Schlong FC. Held Capdevila emerged victorious, netting 6 goals against their opponent's 3, putting them among the top scorers in the division.

In Division 1, the teams were equally competitive. Greenhouse FC overcame Aurigny 5-2, while NottingYourMums Forest and RH Utd battled to a standstill at 2-2. The defining match was Guernsey New Saints versus The Corner Shop. The Saints delivered a stunning performance, decimating their rivals with a remarkable 16-0 finish, setting a new record for the highest scoring match in the league’s history.
