Play in the Guernsey Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the fifth week of the Guernsey Wednesday Football league, a series of thrilling matches enthralled the audience. A total of eighteen teams across three divisions competed, resulting in an exciting display of skill and strategy.

In the Premier League, Los Diablos and Aztekkers ended in a draw with each team scoring a goal. Les Green Mango FC won a nail-biting match against One Foot In The Grave, scoring 4-3. KPMxG also tasted victory with a 2-1 win over Substandard Liege. Class On Grass dominated their game against Baines On Toast, ending with a victory of 4-0. Bossolona dominated the field with a remarkable 6-0 win against Bunty Collacks.

Division 1 saw similar excitement. Brentford Rejects triumphed over Slaughterhampton with a score of 5-1. Tiki Tekkers had a resounding 4-0 victory over Ran Out Of Mane while Too Many Flutes FC beat Pelé Galaxy CF 3-0. Impact scored a victory over Egg Fried Reus with a score of 5-3. However, the highlight of the division was the high scoring match between AFC Pornmouth and FC Augsburg that ended 4-8.

Division 2 was not to be outdone. 2 Girls 1 Schlupp defeated Exeter Gently scoring an impressive 10-1. Park Place Rangers scored a victory over Lochness Donkeys 3-1, while Spacejam FC won their match against Krul And The Gang 4-2. GUERNSEY ACADEMICALS and Marlboro Touch ended in a 3-3 draw, and Football Club FC scored a clean sweep of 3-0 against Cherry-Poppers.

Unfortunately, the top scorers for each division were not mentioned in the league results. The enthusiasm and commitment of all teams were evident in this week’s matches. As the league progresses, fans eagerly await more such pulsating games.
