Football fever was at an all-time high last night with Week 9 of the Guernsey Wednesday 6 a side League in full swing. The league, organized into three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, saw some thrilling matches, and a few surprising upsets.

Finally, in Division 2, Cherry-Poppers outplayed Park Place Rangers with an impressive 5-2 victory, thereby becoming the top scorers in their division. In other matches, 2 Girls 1 Schlupp emerged victorious with a 3-0 win against Krul And The Gang while Football Club FC managed to overcome Exeter Gently with a 2-1 score. The match between GUERNSEY ACADEMICALS and Lochness Donkeys ended in a 2-2 draw, and Spacejam FC managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Marlboro Touch.
